Foca External Castle; referred as the Ceneviz Castle at the Castle Bay in the south west of Foca, according to the sources, is constructed as a cutthroat by Ottomans on a strategic point to guard the region in 1678.
Foca External Castle, which is on a cape, is separated from the continent via a huge trench with the aim of guarding. During the underwater archeological studies, some stone shots were found at the bottom just in front of the castle. It's thought that these shots were fired via catapults from the castle towards enemy ships.
